One Fence at a Time: Creating Our Summer Haven in Aegina
Fencesā¦ honestly, I never imagined how many a house would need! Every corner, every little path, every garden line seems to ask for one more. But thankfully, Iām not alone in this adventure. Iām lucky to have the best partner in Aeginaāsomeone whoās been helping us build each fence, one by one, with care, patience, and a shared vision of what this home can become.
For the design, I chose a warm brown shadeāearthy, calming, and beautifully blended with the islandās natural palette. It pairs perfectly with the lush green plants weāre slowly adding around the house. The combination already feels harmonious, grounded, and true to the spirit of Aegina.
It may look like just a tiny drop in the ocean right nowā¦ but trust me, every little step matters. Renovating a summer home is a journey, and weāre taking it slowly, thoughtfully, and with a lot of love.
